Settlement Summit Conference Materials

The Settlement Summit in New York City was a huge success. Thanks to the over 500 people who attended events during the week! Speakers came from practitioners and experts in the field, including the Annie E. Casey Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Fiscal Policy Institute, the Immigration Policy Center at the American Immigration Council, the U.S. Department of Education, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Aspen Institute on Community Change, Grassroots Grantmakers and ARAMARK. In addition, representative from more than 15 member agencies shared their insights and solutions to common problems.

UNCA kicked off its 100th Anniversary in style, awarding the Jane Addams Distinguished Leadership Award to Ralph Smith, Executive Vice President of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. Our Neighborhood 2011 was also unveiled, a project to incorporate the vision of our community's youth.
